The world lost a legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam aka SPB a year ago. SPB died on September 25, 2020, after a long battle with coronavirus. Today, on his first death anniversary his fans and followers are missing him. #SPBalasubhrahmanyam has been trending on Twitter since early morning.
SPB died in a private hospital in Chennai, where he was admitted after he was diagnosed with Covid-19 on August 22, 2020. Later, he was tested negative but his lungs were damaged, which resulted in lung failure.

He has sung more than 4000 songs in as many as 16 languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. On this death anniversary let us have a look at the evergreen songs by SPB.
1.) Roja Janeman:
The song is similar to the Tamil version song named Kadhal Rojave, released in 1992. It was a soundtrack album of music composer A. R. Rahman. The song has two Hindi versions – one by SPB and the other by Hariharan.
2.) Dil Deewana:
The song was sung for the movie “Maine Pyaar Kiya,” featuring Salman Khan and Bhagyashree. The music was composed by Raamlaxman and the lyricist of the song was Dev Kohli.
3.) Yeh Haseen Vadiyan:
This is another soulful track from the film Roja, featuring Madhoo, Arvind Swamy. The song was sung by S.P. Balasubrahmanyam, K.S. Chithra and was composed by A. R. Rahman.

4.) Hum Apke Hai Kon:
The title track of the 1994 film Hum Apke Hai Kon was sung by the legendary singer SPB and Lata Mangeshkar. The film featured Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit as the lead role.
>5.) Chennai Express:
After the interval of 15 years, SPB made a comeback with the title track of the 2013 film Chennai Express, which features Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
