A notification has been issued by the government, which states that April 14, which falls on Monday, will be a public holiday in most institutions, including schools, colleges, government offices, boards, and corporations, across the state.

It is to be noted that the holiday falls after two consecutive holidays - second Saturday, April 12, and Sunday, April 13. Therefore, people will have three days to chill, relax, and rejuvenate.

The details -

The government has announced that April 14 will be marked as a holiday under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act of 1881 - which states that the day will be marked as a holiday to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar.
