Prior to Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Retired AIG Harvinder Singh Dalli from Punjab Police has joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today. Retired AIG Harvinder Singh Dalli was included in BJP by former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani. Manorjan Kalia, KD Bhandaris, Rakesh Rathore, Rajan Sharma and other BJP leaders were among those present at his inclusion.
As per reports, Harvinder Dalli has served in several districts of Punjab including Jalandhar and Kapurthala. Political experts say that Dalli has considerable influence in the Doaba area. Dalli has been posted as ADPC in Jalandhar for a long time. His mother-in-law Mohinder Kaur is a former CPS and is currently in BJP. His son is also a BJP leader. Dalli has been posted as ADCP in Jalandhar for a long time.
Dalli has handled many big cases in Jalandhar city and rural areas in Punjab. Dalli was last posted as Commandant in Punjab Armed Police (PAP).
