Rhea Chakraborty entered the Entertainment industry with a Telugu-language romantic drama film written and directed by M. S. Raju. She acted alongside Sumanth Ashwin. The film was released worldwide on 20 July 2012. Rama Swamy (Prabhu) and Ravindra Babu (Nagababu) are childhood friends who stay together. Their kids Karthik (Sumanth Ashwin) and Nidhi (Rhea Chakraborty) are of the same age but they hate each other and torment each other by playing pranks. After a while, Nidhi is sent abroad for her further studies. However, they ultimately fall in love.
2. Mere Dad Ki Maruti
Rhea Chakraborty's debut film in Bollywood came in the year 2013. Rhea acted alongside Saqib Saleem as the main lead role. Rhea plays the character of a model and she indeed attracted many by her acting in the movie. Although the main character can be said is Marti Ertiga as the story revolved around the car, still, the movie won many hearts and talks were high its sequel will be also filmed. It is a 2013 Indian comedy film directed by Ashima Chibber.
3. Sonali Cable
Sonali Cable was the first strong film of Rhea Chakraborty which showcased her as the protagonist. Sonali Cable is a 2014 Indian Bollywood film directed by Charudutt Acharya and produced by Ramesh Sippy and Rohan Sippy. Rhea Chakraborty plays the title character of 'Sonali' alongside Ali Fazal and Raghav Juyal. The film was released on 17 October 2014.
4. Dobaara: See Your Evil
Rhea Chakraborty's career graph went down after Sonali Cable even after her brilliant acting and therefore the actress did a supporting role movie. Rhea was seen as a supporting actress in Dobaara: See Your Evil. It is a 2017 Indian supernatural horror film written and directed by Prawaal Raman. 5. Half Girlfriend
One of the most successful movie when it was released, Rhea Chakraborty was seen doing a cameo in Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer movie. Rhea Chakraborty plays the character of Anshika, who loves Madhav (Arjun Kapoor) but lets him go for Riya Somani (Shraddha Kapoor). Half Girlfriend is an Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film based on the novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat. The film is directed by Mohit Suri. The film was released in 2017.
6. Bank Chor
After playing supporting actress and cameo, Rhea was yet again seen in the Bank Chor. The movie was not high in terms of star cast yet the film was produced by Y-Films and distributed by Yash Raj Film. The film stars Riteish Deshmukh and Rhea Chakraborty, with Vivek Oberoi in a substantial role. The movie became the talking point as Oberoi has returned to Yash Raj Films after 15 years, his last film under their banner was Saathiya. The film was released on 16 June 2017. Also reports state that this movie was first offered to Kapil Sharma but things did not go down well.
7. Jalebi
Rhea Chakraborty's last on-screen movie before all the controversies started. Rhea Chakraborty finally after 4 years was back doing lead roles after Sonali Cable. Jalebi is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language romantic musical drama film directed by Pushpdeep Bhardwaj. It's an official remake of the Bengali film Praktan. During the movie Jalebi many pictures of Rhea and Mahesh Bhatt also went viral and various reports were published.
