In what might turn out to be a shocker for Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty, the CBI on Wednesday filed its reply on the FIR filed by the Bollywood actress against Sushant's sisters. Sushant Singh Rajput's sisters Priyanka and Meetu had knocked on the doors of the Bombay High Court to quash the FIR registered by the Mumbai Police on the complaint of actress Rhea Chakraborty. The complaint by Rhea Chakraborty was later transferred to the CBI. . Rhea, in her six-page long complaint stated that Sushant passed away five days after he obtained a prescription wherein “he was unlawfully prescribed psychotropic substances at the behest of his sister Priyanka”.
To counter this, Sushant sisters Meetu and Priyanka have filed a petition to quash the FIR filed by Rhea Chakraborty. On this, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde had filed an affidavit that the petition of Sushant's sisters should be quashed and the agency should be given time to investigate this.
The Bombay High Court on Tuesday had directed the CBI's Counsel Additional Solicitor General to file a rejoinder to Maneshinde's reply.

Now, the CBI has filed its rejoinder. The CBI seemed to be in support of Sushant Singh Rajput's sisters. Going by the reports of ANI, the CBI ASG stated, "FIR is vitiated & bad in law. The complaint filed by Rhea Chakraborty is mostly speculative in nature & such speculation can't be made the basis of an FIR."
Rhea had filed her complaint and FIR based on a WhatsApp screenshot that went viral on social media.
