As the second wave of COVID 19 has swept the country, every moment has become a battle for survival. Our frontline staff has proven to be a blessing for anyone who is working selflessly to save as many lives as they can in these critical times. After stepping forward to support people during India's healthcare crisis, actor Rhea Chakraborty has expressed her gratitude to frontline staff. On Monday, she wrote a message on her Instagram stories thanking them for their efforts in the battle against the coronavirus. She wrote, “Let’s go Mumbai! Grateful to the Covid warriors ( frontline workers ) who are saving our beloved city ! #heroes Be safe, be kind... United we stand .. Love and strength to all of us! May God bless us.”

On Friday, Rhea made her direct message choice available to all in the hopes of assisting those in need. She announced,  “Tough times call for unity, help all those that you can.. small help or big help, help is help.. DM me if I can help in any way.. will try my best.. take care, be kind.. Love and strength – Rhea.”

After the death of her late boyfriend, actor Sushant Singh Rajput, in June of last year, Rhea had avoided social media. Sushant's family accused her of aiding suicide and money laundering, among other items. She's slowly re-entering the world of social media. She broke her social media silence with a post dedicated to her mother on Women's Day.

Several celebrities, including Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, Sidharth Malhotra, and Sushmita Sen, have stepped forward to help tackle the country's health crisis. The second wave of coronavirus has hit India, and people in many states are struggling to get enough oxygen and medicines. On Monday, India hit a new daily high of 3.52 lakh cases.
