The demand for CBI Inquiry by entire India has been finally fulfilled by the Bihar Government. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday recommended a CBI investigation into the death of deceased actor Sushant Singh Rajput after speaking to his father KK Singh. The minister said that the Bihar government will ask for a CBI inquiry into the matter. It is also reported that Sushant's father and his family no longer want the police to investigate the case and want the CBI to investigate the case instead. Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Mumbai home on June 14.
However, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde who has been the lawyer of Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt in past has responded to it. ANI quotes Maneshinde, he said, "There can't be transfer of a case which had no legal basis for Bihar to get involved. At most, it would be a 'Zero FIR' transferable to Mumbai Police. Transfer of a case,on which they had no jurisdiction, to CBI has no legal sanctity."

The Supreme Court will give its verdict on August 5 that which state police will be handling Sushant Singh Rajput's case. Note, it is the first time Sushant's family demanded for CBI Inquiry. Notably, Rhea Chakraborty herself asked for CBI Inquiry from Home Minister Amit Shah, therefore not letting transfer the case to CBI deepens suspicion on her.
