Rishabh Pant's accident on Friday morning shocked the nation and the cricketing world as the 25-year-old star wicket-keeper of Team India suffered serious injuries. Rishabh Pant accident was fatal as the southpaw had to break the window of his car in order to come out as the BMW he was driving caught fire. The Delhi Capitals skipper was rushed to the hospital after the accident and reports suggest that he syffered major injuries are on his forehead and knee. As per reports, Rishabh Pant's car accident took place in the early hours on Friday, when Pant was returning to New Delhi. He was subsequently taken to a local hospital before being moved to Dehradun. Police official known the developments said, "The incident took place at Mohammedpur Jat near Roorkee. According to what Pant said, he dozed off while driving and as a result, the car collided with the divider and caught fire. He was moved to the Roorkee hospital from where he has now been shifted to Dehradun."

Rishabh Pant's health update
As of now, the Delhi Capitals skipper has two deep wounds on his forehead, one right above the left eye, a ligament tear in the knee; and abrasions on his back. He has been sent to the Max Hospital in Dehradun where further scans, including an MRI, will determine the exact extent of injuries and further course of treatment. Pant reached the hospital at 6 am.
On the cricket front, Pant will miss the six white-ball games against Sri Lanka due to a knee issue that has been troubling him since some time. He has reportedly been asked to head to the National Cricket Academy for two weeks to undergo a strengthening session for his knee.
