Rishabh Pant played an entertaining game on Day 3. Rishabh Pant and Cheteshwar Pujara both tried to get the game back in favor of India but they fall short of a putting a thunderous show.
Pant missed out on his century in the Chennai test against England while chasing the mammoth 578 runs.
Rishab Pant is one player who is known for his style and strategy. Cheteshwar Pujara while speaking with Times Now said, "There are times when he can be a little more patient and build a partnership with whoever is there. Because whenever he is there and he bats a bit longer, he gets a big one. So I'm sure he'll learn, he has a bright future, he will learn from his mistakes."
Pujara in the press conference on day 3 said, ""The communication to Pant is to try and make him understand the shots he can play and avoid. There are times where he has to understand that he has to put the team first and be sensible, he has done that most of the time."
The Pujara and Pant's partnership revived India's hopes for the day but their styles, as per reports are poles apart.
Being named as Dhoni's successor and lauded for his game
and style of playing cricket, Rishabh Pant is sure to go a long way in his
