Celebrities used social media to bring out the best in themselves during the first phase of lockdown in March-April 2020 throughout the world. Many celebrities who were not even on social media took part in live sessions on various platforms, while others revealed details about their daily lives during the lockdown.

Federer was notable for participating in a live session with his opponent, Rafael Nadal, which was talked about for many days.
He also gained attention when he challenged a number of celebrities to a 'Tennis at Home' challenge. Federer shared a video of himself playing a modified form of tennis alone. He challenged many celebs to imitate him on Instagram. Virat Kohli, the Indian captain, was among the players he challenged.
Federer returned to tennis in 2021, competing at Wimbledon as well. Due to a knee injury, he is presently unable to perform.
For the first time in over five years, he fell out of the top ten in the ATP rankings on Monday, as newly crowned Indian Wells winner Cameron Norrie gained 11 positions.
Federer, 40, has not played since losing in the Wimbledon quarter-finals to Hubert Hurkacz in July due to a right knee injury.
Hurkacz of Poland moved up two places to 10th after reaching the last eight at Indian Wells last week, knocking Federer down to 11th.
Federer has been on break for some time, while Kohli is set to take a rest after the ICC tournament. Federer is one of the most well-known sports figures in the world, with almost 8.7 million Instagram followers. Kohli, on the other hand, has a massive 161 million Instagram followers.
