Just a day after Jalandhar Rural Police shot one accused in the YouTuber Rozer Sandhu case, the Police carried out another encounter with the second accused. A person named Hardik Kamboj was shot in Police encounter and was arrested from Yamuna Nagar on Tuesday morning. Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, DIG Naveen Singla revealed that the accused Hardik has links with ISI, Pakistani secret services. DIG said that Hardik is related to Zeeshan Akhtar and he came in contact with Pakistani Don Shahzad Bhatti through Zeeshan.
Now late at night, the police also encountered the second accused in village Mandara under Adampur. The police had chased the accused to capture him, where the accused had an encounter with the police in the village. The police retaliated and injured the second accused in the encounter. The second accused was identified after the interrogation of Hardik. After which, he was arrested from Himachal Pradesh.
However, the police vehicle broke down in village of Mandara. Seeing the opportunity, the accused started absconding from the spot. During this, the accused was injured in the encounter. Giving information about the case, SSP Gurmeet Singh said that Amranpreet Singh, Dheeraj, Pandey, and Lakshmi were involved. Amranpreet was shot in the leg in the encounter and he is being admitted to the hospital for treatment.
On Tuesday, Mr. Naveen Singla, DIG Jalandhar Range, issued a strong warning, stating that any elements trying to disturb peace, law, and order in society will not be spared under any circumstances. He assured that all efforts will continue to maintain peace and law in Punjab. He also appealed to the public to inform the police immediately if they come across any anti-social activity.
For those who are unaware, on March 16, 2025, at approximately 3:45 AM, two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle threw a grenade at the house of Navdeep Singh alias Roger Sandhu, a popular YouTuber and social media influencer, in village Raipur Rasoolpur, Police Station Maqsuda. Preliminary investigations reveal that the attack was carried out by individuals connected with Pakistan-based ISI operative Shahzad Bhatti.
