Russia to soon approve second coronavirus vaccine after Sputnik V

Russia is ready to approve its second coronavirus vaccine in the coming days. Back in August, Russia officially launched the very first COVID-19 vaccine - Sputnik V with its very first doses given to President Vladimir Putin's daughter.

Russia is prepared to register its second coronavirus vaccine on October 15, according to the information given by a vaccine developer. Back in August, Russia launched the very first coronavirus vaccine. Russia in August became the first country in the world to officially launch a coronavirus vaccine named Sputnik V. The vaccine’s first dose trial was conducted on President Vladimir Putin's daughter. 

The country is now going to approve its second COVID vaccine on October 15,

# This new coronavirus vaccine named EpiVacCorona has been developed by Vector State Research Centre of Virology and Biotechnology. They have completed early-stage clinical trials of the vaccine. 

 # According to sources, the Healthcare Ministry of the Russian Federation has begun the procedure of registration of the EpiVacCorona vaccine. 

 # Russia is ready to wind up the registration procedure of the EpiVacCorona vaccine. The Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing has informed that the date of registration of the second COVID-19 vaccine has been fixed on October 15.

 # The Vector State Research Centre of Virology had received a green signal from the Russian health ministry for human trials back in July. 

 # In September, around 20 volunteers who participated in clinical trials of the EpiVacCorona vaccine were discharged from the medical centre.

# Speaking on clinical trials, Russia's chief sanitary doctor Anna Popova said that the human trials have remained very successful. The volunteers after getting the vaccine developed required strength from it and no one showed any sort of speculative clinical signs like temperature nor any other worrying reaction. 

 # Second stage human trials of Russia's second Covid-19 vaccines are expected to begin in November-December in which 30,000 volunteers are expected to participate.
