The debate on nepotism in the country has intensified following the Suicide of Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput. There is a discussion that 34-year-old actor Sushant was harassed professionally, due to which he had to take such a step. Now Sushant's brother-in-law has announced the launch of the nepometer on social media.
In this debate of nepotism, Alia Bhatt is badly slammed on social networking sites. Not only Alia but also his father and director Mahesh Bhatt is facing the wrath of Sushant's fan. Mahesh Bhatt is facing the wrath due to his relationship with Sushant's alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.
Going by the nepometer, Alia Bhatt's upcoming movie which also has Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur in the main star cast is 98% nepotistic.
Before launching Nepometer, Sushant Singh Rajput's family took to Instagram to introduce the app. In a long post they demanded justice for the late actor. The post read, "Dear Friends, Our family is devastated with #SushantSinghRajput's passing away. We all want #justiceforsushantsinghrajput and request everyone to pray & demand for the truth to come out. This has also exposed the dark side of Bollywood and how some of the very few abuse & exploit independent artists."
Fearing that the outrage, they are witnessing after Sushant Singh Rajput's death, might fade away soon, they wrote, "It's time to take some concrete action on this front as well. I’m afraid that this momentum and outrage might fade away in few weeks. We all signed up for change.org petitions with great unity and it shows that we are looking for this Bollywood nepotism to change (sic)."
