Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP and close aide to Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, Sanjay Raut termed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar intolerant. Sanjay was giving his interview to a prominent news channel. Interacting with media Sanjay Raut said that he always though Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was a sensible person. But due to the Bihar election, he has become intolerant.
Sanjay accused Nitish Kumar of doing politics over Sushant Singh Rajput's case just to win the elections. It is strange that if serving justice to anyone can help you, then that's called winning the election on the basis of work.
Sanjay said that Mumbai Police is renowned worldwide and has successfully investigated many cases. Therefore, Sushant's case should be investigated by the Mumbai Police, not Bihar Police.
Raut also slammed Devendra Fadnavis for questioning on Mumbai Police. He said while he was Chief Minister it was Mumbai Police who worked for him and now he is raising questions on them.
Notably, Sanjay Raut has written an editorial piece in Saamana where he slammed media of celebrating Sushant’s demise as a ‘festival’ and also revealed how the actor was being considered for George Fernandes’s biopic but it did not happen. He went on to blame Sushant’s depression as the reason behind him not getting shortlisted for the biopic. Making claims, he added that after biopic on Balasaheb Thackeray, they decided to make a biopic on George Fernandes.
