India's champion boxer Saweety Boora on Tuesday broke the internet after her video went viral in which she was seen assaulting her husband. All is not well between Saweety Boora and her husband who is a famous former Kabaddi Player Deepak Hooda. While Saweety Boora is a former World Champion in boxing, her husband Deepak Hooda is the former captain of the Indian Kabaddi team.
After Saweety Boora Viral Video started spreading like wildfire in which she was seen beating Deepak Hooda, the boxer issued a clarification and accused her estranged husband of being interested in men. She said that I came to know all these things later. As per reports, Saweety Boora said that she is being deliberately shown in a bad light, whereas Deepak Hooda used to beat her. Saweety Boora said that Deepak had called her to show the video. According to the boxer, the beginning and the end part of the video is missing. In that part, Deepak was abusing her. Saweety Boora also said that she later had a panic attack, that part has also been removed from the video.
Who is Saweety Boora?
32-year-old boxer Saweety Boora is a resident of Ghirai village in Hisar district of Haryana. Born on 10 January 1993 in a farmer family, Saweety Boora's father Mahendra Singh is a farmer, while mother Suresh Devi is a housewife. Saweety Boora has also been a state-level Kabaddi player. However, she made her career in boxing on the advice of her father. She entered the boxing ring for the first time at the age of 15. After this, she did not look back and won many medals for India.
Saweety Boora started her career by winning a gold medal at the state level in the year 2009. After this, she brought glory to the family by winning the gold medal in the 11th Senior Women's National Boxing Championship. Then she won many medals at the senior level and won the silver medal in the AIBA Boxing Championship in South Korea in the year 2014. She also managed to win the silver medal in the Asian Women's Boxing Championship held in China in 2015.
Apart from these, she has also won gold medals in the 2018 International Boxing Championship, 2021 Senior National Championship, 2022 Asian Championship, 2022 Senior National Championship and 2023 World Championship. She was also awarded the Arjuna Award this year.
The couple, both celebrated athletes and recipients of the prestigious Arjuna Award, tied the knot in July 2022. However, their relationship has been marred by allegations of domestic abuse and dowry harassment, leading to police complaints from both parties. Sweety Boora had filed a dowry harassment case against her husband.

Saweety Boora says that the things that happened before and during that time were not shown in the video. She further said that she has come live to tell about the allegations that are being made about her and the video that is going viral on her channel and social media.
Saweety Boora Divorce
In her address, Saweety Boora further said with folded hands that if she is so bad then why doesn't her husband divorce her? I am only asking for a divorce from him. The boxer said that she had not asked for anything from Deepak. Saweety Boora outlined, "I have not asked for property, nor money, I am not even asking for the money he has taken from me. I have only told him to give me a divorce, I don't want anything else."
