To curb the coronavirus pandemic, United Kingdom has come up with a bizarre guidelines. In the UK, the government is introducing a new measure according to which having sex inside your house with a person you don't live with is set to become illegal. This is a part of new lockdown guidelines that the country is introducing to control COVID-19.
Under the new measures, if a person is gathering with one or more people, who don't live with them, inside their home or flat it will be against the law.
Earlier, the lockdown rules said that travelling without a valid reason was punishable, but it did not talk about people visiting another person’s home.
Under the new guidelines, both people would be prosecuted under the law, which were introduced on Monday. The new rule bans being inside the house with a gathering of more than one person without a reasonable excuse.
The new rule reads, "No person may participate in a gathering which takes place in a public or private place indoors, and of two or more persons." Though the new law doesn't explicitly ban sex, it categorically puts an end to lockdown sex for people in England.
The rules come after the country is deciding to ease the lockdown which was implemented because of the novel coronavirus outbreak.
