Rogen said in an exclusive interview that he despises bullying and harassment and will never hide the acts of those who perpetrate it.
The actor, who worked with Franco on many projects including the 2013 film This Is the End, said he would never intentionally place someone in a situation where they would have to be around someone like that.

In 2019, two former female students of Franco filed a sexual assault case . Five women, including the two students, accused him of engaging in "inappropriate and sexually exploitative behaviour on set." Franco tried to pick up a 17-year-old female fan via Instagram DM in 2014, according to reports.
Rogen also expressed regret for a joke he made on Saturday Night Live in 2014, describing it as "terrible." The actor joked that he was imitating a teenage girl and had gotten Franco on a date.
When asked about his 2018 interview, Rogen said that he remembers saying that he will continue working with Franco, but that he hasn't and doesn't intend to do so right now. The 39-year-old actor acknowledged that his personal relationship with Franco had an impact, but he isn't sure if it was over.
Rogen admitted that the new dynamic in his relationship with Franco was stressful and painful, but that it was not as painful as it is for others. “I have no regret for myself in this situation,” he said.
