India's Most Wanted & Sikh For Justice (SFJ) terrorist Gurpatwant Pannun on Tuesday issued two videos threatening Indian Hindus living in Canada. Gurpatwant Pannun issued an ultimatum to 'Indo-Hindus' threatening them to leave Canada and go back to their home i.e. India. Gurpatwant Pannun's threat came hours after Canadian PM Justin Trudeau extended his veiled support to Khalistani outfits over the killing of Hardeep Nijjar. Canadian PM Trudeau termed Hardeep Nijjar a 'Canadian Citizen' and alleged that the country's intelligence agency has credible proof that links the Indian government to the assassination of the so-called Sikh activist. Trudeau totally ignored the fact that Hardeep Nijjar was wanted in India and carried a Rs 10 lakh reward on his head as announced by the NIA in India. Now, India's Most Wanted Gurpatwant Pannun has issued threats against Indian diplomats and Hindus living in Canada.
Gurpatwant Pannun in his video said, "Indo-Canadian Hindus, you have repudiated the allegiance to Canada and the Canadian constitution. Your destination is India. Leave Canada, go to India.” Pannun who went into hiding after the killing of Nijjar further praised pro-Khalistan Sikhs of Canada saying that they have always been loyal to Canada and upheld the country’s laws and constitution. Pannun accused 'Indian-Hindus' of 'supporting violence by celebrating the assassination of Shaheed Nijjar', adding that the Canadian Hindus are not only backing India but also supporting its alleged suppression of pro-Khalistan voices.
Not only this, Pannun further announced another ‘referendum’ although this time not to vote for Khalistan but to decide if Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma is responsible for the ‘assassination’ of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. He said that on October 29, a “Kill India Referendum” is happening in Vancouver and urged the Canadian Sikhs to come and vote.

Justin Trudeau on backfoot after US, UK snub
Notably, hours after India's tit-for-tat action against Canada, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau toned down his 'absurd' allegations. and stated that he is not trying to provoke New Delhi. "The government of India needs to take this matter with utmost seriousness. We are doing just that... We are not looking to provoke or escalate," Trudeau said in the morning briefing before the House of Commons started. It is pertinent to mention here that Trudeau's tilt to Khalistani outfits came after he has been facing flak from his countrymen over inflation, unemployment, expensive housing taxes and more. Apart from this, Punjabis account for 2.6% of Canada’s total population, with a figure of about 950,000. 770,000 out of these are Sikhs, marking significant representation. Hence, it is quite evident that Trudeau is looking score some brownie points by winning Sikhs votes in the country in order to remain in power.
