Shah Rukh Khan recently engaged with fans and discussed the global appeal of his movie 'Jawan,' particularly his unique bald look, during an event held at the iconic Burj Khalifa building in Dubai.
The Bollywood star shared his thoughts, saying, "In the film, I'm even sporting a bald look, which is something you won't see me do again in real life. It's a first and a last."
He humorously added, "Abhi aap logo ke liye main ganja bhi ho gaya hu. Toh issi ki izzat ke liye chale jaana... Mujhe ganja hone ka dekhne ka yeh mauka mile ya na mile, kya pata," which translates to, "I even went bald for you all. At least honor that and watch the film in theaters. May or may not the fans get another chance to see me bald."
During the event, Shah Rukh Khan delighted the audience with a lively performance alongside a dance group, featuring the film's song 'Zinda Banda.' He also hinted at his versatile role in the movie, mentioning that audiences could expect to see him in "6 to 7 different looks."
The film's trailer was showcased on the iconic skyscraper, and Shah Rukh Khan and his team also unveiled the Arabic version of the popular song "Chaleya" from the film, attracting nearly 20,000 attendees, according to event organizers.
Reflecting on 'Jawan,' Shah Rukh Khan emphasized its universal appeal, saying, "This film is very special to us because we realized that entertainment should transcend language, religion, caste, color, and creed. We wanted to create a film that families and loved ones can enjoy together. That's why we made it in Tamil and Telugu, and now we're releasing an Arabic song tonight."
The official synopsis of 'Jawan' describes it as a high-octane action thriller that follows the emotional journey of a man committed to rectifying societal injustices and empowering those less fortunate.
Shah Rukh Khan elaborated, "This movie is all about that, but it also offers love, happiness, action, emotion, and drama – a complete package."
Additionally, 'Jawan' features cameo appearances by Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone. Supporting roles are played by Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, and Mukesh Chhabra.
Shah Rukh Khan praised the film's blend of "relationships, outstanding action, and great background music" composed by Ravichander. He also lauded Atlee, known for co-writing blockbusters like 'Theri,' 'Mersal,' and 'Bigil' alongside superstar Thalapathy Vijay.
