After receiving mixed reviews at the box office, Shaitaan is all set to send chills down the spine to fans in the world of OTT. Shaitaan was released in theaters on March 8, 2024, and it was declared a hit with reportedly more than Rs 150 crore collection. Directed by Vikas Bahl, Shaitaan features Ajay Devgn as Kabir Rishi, R. Shaitaan will be available for streaming on Netflix. Talking about Shaitaan's release time, reports suggest that R Madhvan's movie will be available for streaming on the US streaming giant from 12 am in midnight. However, it is pertinent to mention here that Netflix released Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi on May 1, 2024, at 1:30 pm in the noon.
Sahitaan's director Vikas Bahl was quoted by a portal on his lack of experience of making supernatural thrillers. Bahl had said, "I don't really watch supernatural thrillers or horror movies, so my knowledge of that genre as a viewer is very little. But when I heard the story of Shaitaan, I totally loved it, and I felt that this story really had to be told. At the same time, it was so challenging for me to tell a story in a genre that I am a novice in. So, I thought, let me take up this challenge and see where it goes. And I must say, it's been a great experience working on Shaitaan and creating it."
