After a historic win by the Aam Aadmi Party in the Delhi election, praises and wishes are pouring from everywhere. Especially by the Congress who cannot even secure a single seat in the Delhi Election.
Former Union Home Minister P Chidambaram took his happiness of AAP winning Delhi election on twitter and said, "AAP won, bluff and bluster lost. The people of Delhi, who are from all parts of India, have defeated the polarising, divisive and dangerous agenda of the BJP. I salute the people of Delhi who have set an example to other states that will hold their elections in 2021 and 2022."
On this, Delhi Mahila Congress President Sharmistha Mukherjee slammed Chidambaram and tweeted, "With due respect, sir, just want to know- has
@INCIndia outsourced the task of defeating BJP to state parties? If not, then why r we gloating over AAP victory rather than being concerned abt our drubbing? And if ‘yes’, then we (PCCs) might as well close shop!"
Last the last year's Delhi Election, Congress was unable to open their account. Congress had ruled Delhi under the leadership of Sheila Dixit from 1998 to 2013. Mukherjee did not stop at criticising Chidambaram. She posted a series of tweets.
