Bollywood actor Shekhar Suman has been quite vocal since the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor has been asking for justice for Sushant frequently. However, Shekhar Suman recently gave up the campaign of justice for Sushant.
Highlighting Sushant's family silence, Shekhar wrote on twitter and said, "Dear all,Thank you for making my voice strong all this while.Allow me to plz take a backseat now.since the family is completely silent on this,it's making me very uncomfortable to go on.i guess its their prerogative and we all shld respect that."

However, Shekhar soon came on board to seek justice for Sushant. Shekhar said, "I thought about it again and i realized i can't let down the emotions of so many ppl..i will have to continue leading the fight from the http://front.so wat if the family is not coming forward..Sushant was a public figure and we are fighting for him."

On Friday, Suman slammed Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh's statement that Sushant's case does not need any CBI inquiry. Suman wrote on twitter, "Home minister @AnilDeshmukhNCP feels there is no need for a CBI enquiry. With due respect,that is his point of view.Millions of ppl have a differing and a different point of view.We do not agree with his decision#callforCBIenquirywillconitueforsushant."
