After the huge success of Aarya, Sushmita Sen is coming back with another season as Aarya Sareen on Disney+ Hotstar. She is looking deadlier, powerful and fearless in her new avatar.
Beside Sushmita, the cast includes Chandarchur Singh, Namita Das, Sikander Kher, among several others.
Ending the year-long wait for the show, Sushmita shared her first look and called her character a "Sherni". Sharing the teaser, Sushmita wrote, "#firstlook...Literally #AARYA2 Sherni is back! This time, deadlier than ever! The show is made by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi. The drama is based on a Dutch show called Penoza. Aarya, an independent woman, is the focus of the series. Her primary concern is protecting her family.
As of now, Aarya season 2 doesn’t have a concrete release date. There is no word on the release date from the directors or cast. However, we can expect Aarya Season 2 to come out at the end of 2021.

Aarya marked Sushmita Sen’s digital debut as well as her comeback to acting. It showcased Sushmita Sen's journey from a doting mother to a fighter, after her husband is shot dead in broad daylight.It also marked Ram Madhvani’s entry in the web space. Aarya was one of the most watched and loved web series of last year (release in June 2020), and Aarya 2 has been a much-awaited sequel.
Meanwhile, Aarya has been nominated in the Best Drama Series category at this year's International Emmys. The International Emmys winners will be announced at an in-person ceremony in New York on November 22, 2021.
