In Muppala village of Nandigama mandal in NTR district on Saturday, a woman spotted her husband browsing Instagram reels of his first wife and sliced his genitals with a blade. His family members rushed him to a neighborhood government hospital before transferring him to Vijayawada GGH for further care. After physicians stitched the cut area, his condition is reportedly stable.
Kota Anand Babu (26) married about six years ago, according to the authorities. However, he divorced his wife after several fights. He married Varamma (25), four years ago. Since then, the couple has been living in Muppalla hamlet and making a living as day laborers.

Varamma became agitated when she discovered Anand Babu checking his first wife's Instagram reels in the early hours of Saturday. This resulted in a heated quarrel between the couple, during which they beat each other.
Varamma then assaulted Anand with a blade, cutting his genitals. Locals raced to their residence after hearing the commotion and discovered Anand bleeding severely. He was initially transported to the government hospital in Nandigama. Later, he was transferred to Vijayawada for better care. Doctors who treated Anand told cops that he had a serious cut in his genitals. He was eventually released from the hospital.
