India is still recovering from the brutal Shraddha Walker murder case and with each passing days, shocking and gruesome revelations are surfacing. While Aftab Poonawala continues to be on Delhi Police remand, multiple details have been surfacing in the Shraddha Walker murder case. Now, Aftab Poonawala and Shraddha Walker's WhatsApp chat has surfaced and it shows that the victim was beaten by her live-in partner. Not only this, but Shraddha Walker WhatsApp chat also suggests that she was Aftab out of her life and endured physical assault as well when she was in a relationship with him.
Reportedly, Shraddha Walker WhatsApp chats dates to November 2020 in which she is talking to her ex-manager about the 'beating' that she received the previous day that caused a drop in her blood pressure. In the message, Shraddha says, "I won't be able to make it today because from all the beating yesterday I guess my bp ifs low and body hurts. Energy nahi bachi hai bed see uthne ki (No energy is left to leave the bed). On November 24, 2020, Shraddha texted her ex-manager about a day off from office due to 'all the beating yesterday.' Reportedly, she also stated that Aaftab is moving out. Furthermore, Shraddha tells her manager that she needs to make sure that 'he moves out' and also apologized to her manager for not coming to work.

Delhi Police cracked the six-month-old horrific murder case, and arrested a man - Aaftab Amin Poonawala - for allegedly killing his 26-year-old live-in partner Shraddha Walkar. During the interrogation, multiple reports suggest that he revealed the scary details about what led to the brutal killing of the victim by the accused and what happened on the night of May 18 this year. The accused confessed before the police that he met Shraddha Walker while they were working at a call center in Mumbai. "The two got together via a dating app in Mumbai. They were in a live-in relationship for three years and had shifted to Delhi. Soon after the two shifted to Delhi, Shraddha started pressuring the man to marry her," Additional DCP-I South Delhi Ankit Chauhan stated during a press conference.

Aftab allegedly chopped her body into 35 pieces, bought a refrigerator and kept them in it. He later started disposing of the body parts at different locations in and around Delhi during night hours for the next 18 days. It has also emerged said that Aftab slept every day in the same room where he had chopped the body after killing Shraddha. He used to see the face after keeping it in the fridge. Aftab had cleaned the fridge after disposing of the body parts. Poonawal used room fresheners and incense sticks (Agarbatti) to cover the smell of the decaying body of the victim.
Coming to the Shraddha Walker murder case developments, a court in Saket, New Delhi, has allowed Delhi Police to conduct a narco test on Aaftab Poonawalla. Delhi police had moved the court seeking permission for the test, Poonawalla consented, telling the judge he was aware of the consequences.
