Sanjeev Rathod, the late composer's musician son, told in an interview that his father Shravan Rathod and mother had attended the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar a few days before testing positive for COVID. Sanjeev goes on to say that he never imagined his family would have to go through such hardships. His father died of Coronavirus, and both he and his mother tested positive.
He said, "The agony is unbearable. My family has suffered an irreplaceable loss. It has created a void. I'm powerless! I understand the anguish of his fans and colleagues in the film industry. The music industry has suffered a significant setback. He was both a source of strength and a role model for us. We are unable to directly answer all calls and communicate with everyone. Please give us time to recover from this situation, and time will hopefully heal us. I respectfully recommend that everyone stay at home. That's the only way to keep yourself safe."
"We never imagined our family would have to go through such a difficult time; my father died, I am COVID optimistic, and my mother is as well." My brother is also Corona positive and is confined to his house, but after our father died, he is being allowed to do the final procedures to do last rites for our father.
He also responded to claims that the hospital was refusing to release his father's body due to billing concerns. Sanjeev, on the other hand, denies the rumors. He reports that the hospital has been extremely helpful. He says, "They did all they could to support my dad."
In the 1990s, Shravan Rathod collaborated with composer Nadeem Saifi to create music for famous films. Aashiqui, Dhadkan, Judaai, Saajan, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Pardes, and Raja Hindustani, to name a few, were among them.
