Shruti Haasan's breakup was confirmed on Saturday when a news portal contacted the actress for her comments on her relationship status. Shruti Haasan & Santanu Hazarika's breakup was first observed by fans on social media when the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram. Santanu Hazarika and Shruti Haasan were dating each other for past more than 1 year. Then often used to share their mushy photos and posed for papparazzis. A prominent news portal quoted a source close to the duo vaguely revealing Santanu Hazarika & Shruti Haasan's breakup reason. The source said, "They broke up last month. Since there were personal wavelength issues, they decided to part ways amicably." The portal reached out to Shruti, however, the Salaar actress refused to comment on her personal life and requested for privacy.
Reports further suggested that Shruti and Santanu broke up a month before and they have started living separately. Notably, the 38-year-old actress deleted all her photos with Santanu on social media as well. Shruti Haasan also took a small social media break recently and then marked her return with a cryptic post that read, "It’s been a crazy ride, learning so much about myself and about people. We should never be sorry for all the things we can be or need to be."
Interestingly, a few months back Shruti was rumored to be married to Santanu. However, Shruti denied any speculations which sparked after Orhan Awatramani aka Bollywood's best friend, Orry addressed Santanu as Shruti's ‘husband.’
Who is Santanu Hazarika?
Santanu Hazarika is a doodle artist and an illustrator based in Delhi. He won the Best Doodle Artist in the 2014 'Doodle Art Competition'. Shruti Haasan's ex-boyfriend has also worked on independent projects for hip-hop artists - Raftaar and Divine. Santanu quit engineering to make his career in this industry. Just like Shruti Haasan, Santanu also loves music and he likes to collect and play organic musical instruments.
