Canada-based Punjabi Singer Subh's upcoming concert in Mumbai seems to getting into trouble as Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) members on Saturday tore down his posters in Mumbai. Subh whose real name is Shubhneet Singh is all set to perform in SVP Stadium, Worli on November 3, 2023. Subh Still Rollin Tour's tickets are currently available for booking at BookMyShow.Com, however, after the BJYM's protest against the Punjabi singer, it seems like uncertainty is looming over the concert.
The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) members have been removing the advertising posters of Subh as a gesture of protest for his alleged support to Khalistan and Khalistani elements. Notably, a few months back, Subh came under the scanner of social media when he allegedly shared a distorted map of India sans Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir. Subh had allegedly shared the picture on his Instagram stories when Punjab Police was on a hunt to nab a fugitive named Amritpal Singh. Amritpal Singh was nabbed by the Punjab Police under the NSA and while doing it many of his followers were also arrested. Later, after Akali Dal raised concern over Punjab Police arresting innocent youths, the Police officials had clarified that the innocent people under police custody will be released after their screening.
Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) President Tajinder Singh Tiwana was quoted by a newswire saying, "There is no space for Khalistanis who are the enemy of integrity and unity of India. We won't let Canadian singer Shubh to perform on the auspicious land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Mumbai. If no proper action is taken then the organisers will have to face our opposition."
Talking about Subh, the Canada-based Punjabi singer has been a sensation in the making for the past few years. Subh's songs- Elevated, OG, and Cheaques are among the most listened songs by not only people of India but around the world. In fact, Subh's songs are also a massive hit and many social media influencers have used his songs to make reels. Not only this, but former Team India captain Virat Kohli grooved on the song titled 'Elevated' which was sung by Subh.
