Minister of Local Government, Tourism, Cultural Affairs and Museums of the State of Punjab: Navjot Singh Sidhu seems to be not gulping the Moga rally rebuff down the throat as he skipped work for nearly 20 days and remained silent to make his displeasure known.
With the course of action taking place there are no high roads can be seen for Sidhu, as her wife Navjot Kaur has already been denied ticket from the constituency of her choice – Chandigarh.
The seat has gone to the veteran leader Pawan Bansal. Sidhu was not included in the list of speakers at congress president Rahul Gandhi Moga rally held on March 7.

Aggrieved at this Sidhu said,“If i am not good enough to speak at Rahul rally, I am not good enough as a speaker and a campaigner. Whether I am invited to speak or not is something that is not under my control. But it has shown me my place and made it clear who all from the Congress will campaign for the party in the coming Lok Sabha polls.”
However Punjab Congress Chief Sunil Jakhar refuted the controversy and said that Sidhu exclusion was an oversight and stated that he continued to be the party star campaigner.
