Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani tied the knot at the royal Suryagarh palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan on Tuesday. The bride and groom announced their wedding on Instagram. They wrote, "Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai”. As soon as Kiara shared the picture, it went viral in no time and best wishes started to pour in. Sophie Choudhry, Vaani Kapoor, Mallika Dua and more wished the couple for their togetherness.
There was hardly any glimpse of the highly guarded wedding but paparazzi were bringing time to time update from Jaisalmer. Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara's marriage was indeed a 'big fat wwedding' as the Ambanis also attended the event. Notably, Isha Ambani is the childhood friend of Kiara Advani and the actress shares a close bond with the Ambani family. Apart from this, Sidharth and Kiara had an afternoon wedding. Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara have been rumoured to be dating ever since they started work on their 2021 film, Shershaah. None of them have neither confirmed nor denied their relationship. The two are however, regularly spotted together at film parties and events.Last year, at the Koffee with Karan show, Karan Johar played a clip of Kiara from another episode of KWK in which he was seen prodding her about her relationship with Sidharth. At one point, he even asked her about her marriage plans and declared that he would be performing to the Dola-Dola song with Shahid Kapoor at her wedding with Sid. This cracked up both Vicky Kaushal and Sid who were watching the clip very patiently. As the AV ended, Sid told Karan: “kyu itna pareshan kiya aapne usko…(why did you give her so much trouble?).”
Sidharth even sort of confirmed that he’s manifesting he gets married and when Karan said ‘with Kiara’, he said ‘it will be great if it’s her but I am just manifesting.’
As per reports,Sid-Kiara’s roka and chooda ceremonies took place before sangeet night, on February 6. The roka was done as a token of two families uniting. Both Siddharth and Kiara’s parents were present at the ceremony. Following this, the actress also had her chooda ceremony. The exotic wedding venue was lit up in pink last night for the sangeet night. Sidharth also joined Kiara Advani’s brother Mishaal on stage, who was singing a medley for her.
