Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moose Wala's murder has created a huge stir in the country. Sidhu Moose Wala on Sunday was shot to death by miscreants in Punjab's Mansa a day after Punjab Government lifted his security. Canada-based gangster Satinder Singh, aka Goldy Brar, issued a post claiming responsibility for the murder. Issuing a statement on social media, Brar confessed that he, along with Sachin Bishnoi and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, was responsible for the killing. Now, Lawrence Bishnoi's name has raised the eyebrows of many as he once plotted the murder of Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
Lawrence Bishnoi's plot to murder Salman Khan
For the unversed, Bollywood ace actor Salman Khan came under the radar of Lawrence Bishnoi. In 2018, Lawrence Bishnoi first rose to fame when one of his aides was arrested that year for allegedly attempting to assassinate Salman Khan. Salman Khan's alleged involvement in the blackbuck killing incident had raged the gangster as the Bishnoi community believes that blackbucks are sacred. Reportedly, Sampat Nehra – a sharpshooter from the gang, had even carried out a recce. However, the plan was foiled when the Haryana Police’s Special Task Force learned about the plans made by Nehra and his gang members. As the plan was revealed to Haryana Special Task Force, Salman Khan's security was immediately beefed up by the Mumbai Police.
Lawrence Bishnoi fears being killed in a fake encounter
Currently lodged in Delhi Tihar Jail, Lawrence Bishnoi on Monday moved a Delhi court stating that a fake encounter might be made on him by Punjab police. The plea was filed before special NIA judge Praveen Singh who refused to pass any directions saying that "security is a subject of the state and it would not comment on the same". The application comes a day after Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead in Punjab and Bishnoi had taken the responsibility for the same.
