Sidhu Moose Wala fans agitated over the delayed justice in the murder case of the singer are out on the road with friends and family members in a candle march show in the singer’s hometown in Mansa.
Sloganeering against the Punjab government over inaction in the matter the march was led by the singer’s father Balkaur Singh who had put forward three demands ahead of the government.
He said the matter of his son’s security lapse must be investigated by a powerful commission. It must be investigated why was my son provided with the security and who took over it back and why.
In his second demand, he said, the link between the Punjabi film industry with the underworld must be put under scrutiny. Without naming he addressed one of his son’s fellow artists, Balkaur Singh said, at one place he addresses the gangster as his brother and then seeks police security.
How many funds are being infused into the Punjabi music industry must also be made part of the investigation. Lastly, gangster Goldy Brar who claimed responsibility for Moose Wala’s murder must also be brought from Canada.
A red corner notice has also been issued to his name and is involved in killing 150 youth in Punjab. The government must look into this as well.
Balkaur Singh yet again raised questions on the security of Lawrence Bishnoi. He cited the center’s statement on the threat to his life to which he said, what about the rights of people like me who have lost their children?

Sidhu Moose Wala was killed on May 29th in his home town the responsibility of which was claimed by gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar. Six sharpshooters were listed who executed the murder of which three are in police remand, two are dead and one is still absconding.
The police have by far made a total of 24 plus arrests in the matter of which 15 have been named in the charge sheet, which is yet to be presented before the trial court.
Father Balkaur Singh and mother Charan Singh are not satisfied with the government’s action and progress in the case. They said, the one who killed is under police remand but the one who masterminded their son’s murder is still out of police’s reach.
Who all are responsible for curtailing Moose Wala’s security and why no action has been taken against them? They said the government’s inaction in the matter has brought them on the street to seek justice.
