Late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala's father Balkaur Singh is all set to make his political debut. As per reports, talks between Balkaur Singh and the Congress party are in final stages and Sidhu Moose Wala's father may contest Lok Sabha Elections 2024. If reports are true, then Congress is mulling to field Sidhu Moose Wala's father from Bathinda. Notably, the Congress High Command has convinced Balkaur Singh to join politics. He was also seen with Rahul Gandhi during his Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab.
A few months back, Balkaur Singh had dropped a major hint about entering politics during his address to Sidhu Moose Wala's fans. While addressing Sidhu Moosewala's fans outside his mansion, Balkaur Singh said, "If we enter politics, then we will say that Sidhu Moosewala's father does politics. But the difference between a politician and a common man is that Chief Minister Beant Singh was blown up by a bomb and my son was murdered with an AK-47."
Reports further suggest that since Sidhu Moose Wala's younger brother has arrived into the world and Charan Kaur has also been discharged, Balkaur Singh test his luck in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. However, neither Congress nor Balkaur Singh have officially reacted to the reports.
