Renowned Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and Charanjit Singh Channi have landed into another trouble. An FIR has been registered against both of them for doing election campaigning in Mansa after 6 pm. Mansa SDM Harjinder Singh Jasal confirmed the registration of the case. The two have been booked under Section 183 of the Indian Penal Code for violating the model code of conduct and campaigning beyond the stipulated time.
Sidhu Moosewala is the youngest and crowd-puller candidate in the Punjab electoral arena as he understands the pulse and instantly strikes a "musical" chord with voters. Famed, but controversial gun donning, the 28-year-old Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moosewala is the Congress' novice candidate from Mansa for the February 20 assembly polls.

Sidhu Moosewala enjoys a massive fan following in Punjab. He joined National Congress Party on December 3. He is known to glorify guns and police cases in his songs. Punjab’s CM Charanjit Singh Channi and PPCC Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu welcomed him to the party.
