The situation at the Singhu border and other protest sites of farmers is getting tensed minute after minute. Ever since the farmers broke the law and their promise during the tractor rally and hoisted their own flag at the Red Fort, the majority of people have turned against the farmers. Following this around 1 pm in the afternoon, a group of people from Narela reached the protest site and started shouting slogans demanding the farmers to clear the border.
Locals say that due to the farmer protest, their businesses are coming to a standstill. Around 1.45 pm, the locals reached the farmers' tents and broke the essential items of farmers. After this, there was a clash between the farmers and the people. Stones were also pelted from both sides.
From the Police action, a video is going viral on social media in which a Sikh farmer was thrashed by the Delhi Police forces after he tried to attack a cop during the scuffle. Going by the reports of ANI, a Sikh farmer was dragged and beaten by Delhi Police after violence broke out at the Singhu border. Delhi Police thrashed a protesting farmer after he attacked a Police personnel, dragging him to the ground along with him.
