Lending support to the farmers in their fight against the new central farm laws, members of Sikh Talmel Committee in Jalandhar today led to the forced closure of Reliance Jewels store near Guru Nanak Mission Chowk.
The members staged a protest outside the Reliance Jewels store and raised slogans in favour of farmers accusing the corporate houses of making inroads for the agriculture sector in connivance with the Union government.
The members gave full support the farmers protesting at Delhi borders and said no matter what comes in but they won’t back up and will lend every help possible to protesting farmers. They also appealed to the central government to take back the laws as it would hamper the agriculture sector and especially the marginal farmers.
