A young Sikh man from Jalandhar, Punjab, who had been studying in London for a year, disappeared under suspicious circumstances on December 15. BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa took to X, sharing a photo of the missing youth and urging the Ministry of External Affairs to investigate. The cousin of the missing Sikh student had shed light on the situation.
Upon learning of the disappearance of 23-year-old Gurshaman Singh Bhatia from London East, his family was filled with despair. They have chosen to keep a distance from the media and are not discussing the matter with anyone. Gurshaman Singh Bhatia's cousin, Harjap Singh, revealed that Gurshaman had moved to London a year ago to pursue a Master's in Finance. On December 15, his birthday, he was residing in a rented flat in London East with roommates. According to Harjap, Gurshaman had a video call with family members at 8 am on his birthday before celebrating his birthday with his roommate in the flat. After the celebration, he left with his roommate and did not return. Harjap mentioned that Gurshaman's roommate, Siddharth, has been in constant communication but has not been located.
Harjap stated that when Gurshaman went for a walk near the flat in London East, one of his roommates stayed behind, while the others returned to their rooms. He told that the family is not suspecting anyone but is in constant contact with the police and is actively searching for Gurshaman. The family has issued contact information and urged anyone with information about Gurshaman to come forward. Harjap revealed that Gurshaman's last known location was Canary Wharf.
