Sisodia further said that teachers will remain in touch with parents of students of up to Class 8 through phone calls to direct them. One activity/project will be sent to their parents every day through SMS and recorded phone calls.
“Students studying in Nursery to Class 8 will be promoted directly to the next standard, under Right to Education. For Nursery till Class 8 students, one activity/project will be sent to their parents every day through SMS and recorded phone calls,” he added.

However, the Delhi government will begin online classes of two subjects for the students of Class 12.
On the other hand, the Delhi government on Sunday converted schools in Ghazipur area into night shelters to accommodate stranded migrant workers amid the lockdown.
The nationwide lockdown imposed from Tuesday midnight has triggered a mass exodus of migrant workers from cities in several states to their villages. Hundreds of migrant workers belonging to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand have gathered in Ghazipur and nearby areas of the Delhi-UP border.
