Social media sensation and BJP leader Sonali Phogat died of a heart attack Monday night, whilst her family claims conspiracy behind her death and alleges it was a murder and not a sudden attack.
Rupesh, sister of the late BJP leader said, Sonali had complained of the problems with the food she was served and the impact it was causing on her health. This makes the family claim her death as a murder and demands of a CBI inquiry into the case.
Sonali’s sister said, “We had talked the day before yesterday itself, she was perfectly fine and was at her farmhouse. While talking to Mumma she was complaining about her body as there are complications around it.
Yesterday evening the two had a conversation on the same matter. She said as something is being conspired and this morning we got the message about her death due to heart attack.”
Sonali’s sister in law Manoj Phogat said, she came to their home the day before yesterday. From there she left for Mumbai and Goa for a certain project. Sonali was on a Goa trip from 22-25 of this month.
Her brother Watan Dhaka confirmed the death of her sister. The mysterious circumstance of the death of Sonali’s husband is still not known. Sonali is survived by her daughter, who studies in a hostel of a private school.

Whereas echoing the thoughts of her family members former AAP leader Naveen Jaihind has demanded an investigation into the cause of Sonali’s death.
As soon as the family received the report about Sonali’s death they left for Goa. The last rites take place in the Hisar district of Haryana.
