Gun violence in the United States of America does not seem to stop or at least lower as another shooting incident was reported on Tuesday in the Southland Mall in Taylor. The Southland Mall shooting came at time when the United States of America has been reporting a spike in gun violence. Despite the fact, that the security forces and authorities have been on alert, the Taylor Southland Mall shooting came as a shocker.
The Southland mall shooting took place in a broad daylight at around 1:15 PM (local time). Reportedly, the shooting at the Southland mall took place over some trivial argument between two groups of males. Notably, the Taylor Southland Mall shooting took place in the parking lot and multiple shots were fired. In the firing, one person was hit on the shoulder and was badly injured. As a result, the injured person was rushed to a nearby hospital.
It is pertinent to mention here that the gunman fled from the spot after the Southland mall incident. As a result, the security forces have launched a manhunt in order to nab the gunman on the loose. The mall has not been locked down and it is operational as well.

It is pertinent to mention here that the United States of America has been witnessing a massive spike in gun violence in the past few months. On August 26, a mass shooting took place at Kentucky homeless shelter home in 2 were declared dead and multiple were rushed to a hospital. Later the police nabbed the accused named Kenneth Gibbs. Furthermore, on May 15 this year, a teenage gunman wearing military gear opened fire with a rifle at a Buffalo, New York, supermarket, resulting in the killing of at least ten people and injuries of several. Later, on May 26, an 18-year-old man killed 21 people including 19 children in Texas elementary school shooting.
