Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has recently launched a much-anticipated motorcycle CB200X in the country. Japanese Bikemaker Company has called it “perfect urban explorer.” CB200X comes with dual-purpose tyres, but it's not a hard-core off-road motorcycle, like the Hero Xpulse 200.
However, in terms of engine capacity and ex-showroom price, both motorbikes are tough competitors. Here is where they stand in terms of specification.

CB200X vs Xpluse 200: Dimensions
CB200X is 10 kilograms lighter and doesn’t seem to be bulky as compare to Xpluse 200.
Honda’s CB200X is 2035 mm long, 843 mm wide and 1248 mm high on the other hand Xpluse 200 is 2222mm long, 850 mm wide and 1258 mm high. It shows that the Xpulse 200 is longer by 187 mm, wider by 7 mm and taller by 10 mm.
CB200X’s wheelbase is 1355mm and Xpluse’s wheelbase is 1410mm, Hero motorbike’s wheelbase is longer by 55mm.
CB200X’s ground clearance is 167mm and Xpluse’s is 220mm, which is higher by 53mm.
CB200X’s seat height is 810mm and Xpluse comes with an 823mm high seat, which is higher by 13 mm.
Xpluse (13 litres fuel tank) can store 1 litre more fuel as compared to the CB200X (12 litres fuel tank).
CB200X vs Xpluse 200: Chassis and Suspension
Chassis: CB200X is based on Hornet 2.0, comes with Diamond type chassis, on the other hand, Xpluse comes with a Tubular Diamond frame.
Suspension: CB200X features gold upside-down (USD) forks up front and a mono-shock at the rear and Xpluse 200 features telescopic front forks with a 190 mm travel, while at the rear, it gets a 10 step rider-adjustable mono-shock.

CB200X will cost you Rs 1.44 lakh whereas Xpluse is launched at Rs 1.20 lakh.

Wheels and tyre: CB200X comes with tubeless tyres and got a 17-inch alloy wheel at both ends, front-wheel comes with 100/70 section tyre and the rear one comes with a 140/70 section tyre. Xpluse 200 got an 18-inch spoked wheel at the back with shod in a 120/80 section tyre, and the larger 21-inch front wheel is wrapped in a 90/90 section tyre.
Brake: Both two-wheelers come with disc brakes. CB200X got 276 mm disc up front and 220 mm at the rear and on the other hand Xpulse 200 got 276 mm petal disc at the front and 220 mm disc at the rear.
Engine: CB200X comes with an 84.4 cc, single-cylinder engine of the Hornet 2.0, which churns out 17 bhp at 8,500 rpm and develops a peak torque of 16.1 Nm at 6,000 rpm and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. Whereas Xpulse 200 comes with a 199.6 cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine, which churns out 17.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and develops a peak torque of 16.45 Nm at 6,500 rpm, its engine is also paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
