Spider Man: No way Home has broken several records as the movie becomes Sony’s highest-grossing movie of all time. Released globally last week, the film has shaken box office with the collections it has made so far.
The blockbuster is about to touch $1 billion as viewers continue to show huge interest in it. With pandemic on and the new Covid variant– Omicron– having wreaked havoc, who would have thought that ‘Spider Man: No way Home’ could reach such heights.
But surprising one and all, the movie is continuing to grab eyeballs. It achieved a total gross of $900 million at the worldwide box office.
The Tom Holland-starrer is expected to soon touch $1 billion. It has already become Sony’s highest-grossing movie of all time. It broke the record of ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jun’, which was released in 2017.
The movie is said to be the first one in the ongoing pandemic to achieve such milestones as there weren’t many numbers achieved by films due to Covid. It has also had good success in India, having already made 160 crore.
Moreover, the Marvel movie has earned the highest worldwide debut in history after Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War.
Apart from Tom Holland as superhero, No Way Home features Zenday as his love interest, Michelle ‘MJ’ Jones-Watson as well as previous Spider-Man stars Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
The Marvel fans had to wait for quite some time for this movie, which is quite evident as they are thronging cinema halls to watch this exciting sequel, co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing.
