No Way Home is set to be the most important MCU film since Avengers: Endgame in 2019. Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), and Lizard (Rhys Ifans) from previous series led by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were shown in the trailers.

Fans believe that Maguire and Garfield's Spideys will come to Tom Holland's Peter's rescue, but there has yet to be confirmation of this. If this is the case, the filmmakers may choose to save the surprise for the film itself.
Andrew Garfield, for one, has stated several times that he is not in the film. In answer to a fan question, he humorously conveyed his displeasure in an interview.
"At this point, pay attention... I'm done. We'll all find out when the film is out, and we'll either be really disappointed or incredibly happy. Instead, someone will say, "I told you so. We'll all find out together. "Please accept my apologies in advance" he added.
This occurs when an arcane ritual conducted at Peter's request by Doctor Strange goes horribly wrong, ripping the fabric of the universe open. The reason for the ceremony was the consequences from Peter Parker's identity being revealed in the post-credit scenes of Far From Home.
Among the cast are Benedict Cumberbatch, Michelle 'MJ' Jones, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, and Benedict Wong.
Spider-Man: No Way Home, directed by Jon Watts, will be released on December 17th.
