The braveheart Indian pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman is being hailed all around the world for his bravery and now the Indian Wrestling Champion Bajrang Punia has dedicated the gold medal he won at the Dan Kolov-Nikol Petrov Ranking Series in Ruse, Bulgaria to Wing Commander ABhinandan Varthaman.
Punia took it to twitter to dedicate his medal to the braveheart soldier saying, "I want to dedicate my gold to Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman. He has inspired me. I want to meet him one day and also shake hands with him."
Punia was down by 0-3 before he intensified his moves and attack against Jordan Oliver leading to a dominant 12-3 victory over the USA wrestler.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar also congratulated Punia for his victory via twitter.
