Squid Game, a web series that took the world by storm when it was first released on Netflix is all set to be back on the OTT platform with its season 2. Squid Game Season 2 release date was announced by Netflix after the American streaming giant dropped the first teaser of the hit Korean series. Sharing the first teaser, Netflix announced that Squid Game: The Challenge will be released worldwide on its platform on November 22, 2023. Going by the teaser, Squid Game: The Challenge will be crazier and even more dangerous than its previous season. The teaser suggests that the winner of Squid Game: The Challenge will be getting $4.56 million dollars.
Notably, Netflix shared Squid Game: The Challenge teaser with the caption, "456 real people.4.56 million dollars. Squid Game: The Challenge begins November 22."

For those who haven't watched Squid Game, it season 2 was first announced in June 2022. The series puts real-life contestants up against some of the challenges and more from the South Korean series that remains Netflix’s most-watched show of all time within the first 91 days of release. The Korean series has been made by Studio Lambert, which is the same production company behind the hit reality show Traitors. For Netflix, the company is behind the reality dating show Love is Blind.
The concept of original Squid Game series is Netflix’s most popular show of all time, told the story of a divorced father and gambler (Lee Jung-jae) who joins a secret competition with 456 total players. But the losers of each round are executed in the survival game until one victor remains and takes home the cash prize. The series has been renewed for a second season.
