Recently, South Korean television series Squid Game season 2 was released on Netflix. This season was released after a gap of 3 years.
Since its December release, Squid Game Season 2 has grossed over 173 million views and over 1.2 billion hours of watch time, making it the second-most-watched non-English series on Netflix.
Initially, Squid Game seasons 2 and 3 were made together, but the duration of the story led to the split. Squid Game Season 3 is all set to start streaming in 2025 on Netflix. However, details of season 3 are not revealed.
Squid Game season 3 is expected to answer many of the questions left by the season 2. Viewers are eager to know if Gi-hun will get succeed in stopping this deadly game and who will take over as the new Frontman.
The post-credit scenes show the infamous Red Light, Green Light doll, along with a new, boy-like doll. This suggests that more dangerous games are going to be played in the next season.
When and where to watch Squid Game Season 3 online?
Squid Game Season 3 is all set to start streaming from 27th June on Netflix. Director Hwang Dong-hyuk said, “The third season will really explore that sense of loss and failure, that guilt weighing so heavily on Gi-hun. How’s he going to navigate the story further with all of that weighing down on him?”
Netflix has shared a post on Instagram, announcing the release date of Squid Game Season 3. The post reads, “Nothing can prepare you for the final season of Squid Game! Watch Squid Game Season 3 on 27 June.”
Previously, Director Hwang Dong-hyuk revealed about season 3 and said, “Seong Gi-hun who vowed revenge at the end of Season 1 returns and joins the game again. Will he succeed in getting his revenge? Front Man doesn’t seem to be an easy opponent this time either. The fierce clash between their two worlds will continue into the series finale with Season 3.
