Amid the tense situation in Kashmir following the Pahalgam Terror Attack, stranded tourists are looking to return to their homes. To cater to the surge in demand to fly back home, the Union Aviation Ministry on Wednesday requested the airlines to keep the airfares to various states in check. However, it seems like the Airline companies are not ready to give up their profits even in times of calamity. True Scoop tried to dig into the airfares or ticket prices of flights from Srinagar. Below is what you should know-
As per MakeMyTrip, Indigo Flight from Srinagar to New Delhi via Chandigarh at 5:55 pm is priced at Rs 14,030. Similarly, an Indigo flight airfare from Srinagar to Delhi at 11:45 am was priced at Rs 15,375. An Air India Express flight from Srinagar to Mumbai is priced at Rs 33,834. It will take off at 16:35 from Srinagar Airport. Srinagar to Bengaluru via New Delhi, Air India Express flight at 1:15 pm is priced at Rs 12,925. Another flight at 21:30 is priced at Rs 21,234. The price of the flights is for the date April 24, 2025 i.e. tomorrow.

Four additional flights from Srinagar
Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu issued directives for operating four additional flights from Srinagar to Delhi and Mumbai to support stranded travellers. Union Civil Aviation Minister Naidu spoke to Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the need for additional flights from Srinagar to Delhi and Mumbai.
He issued directives to ensure that flight fares do not increase unnecessarily. As part of immediate relief measures, four special flights from Srinagar -- two to Delhi and two to Mumbai -- have been arranged, with additional flights kept on standby to cater to further evacuation needs.
