SSC releases notification against malpractices during recruitment exams

On Wednesday (August 18, 2021) the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a warning against the false practices done during the recruitment of exams for SSC government jobs. 

SSC is an organization, which works under the Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the GOI. SSC conducts various exams in a year, including SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL), SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam (SSC CHSL), Junior Engineer, Junior Hindi Translator, SSC GD Constable, SSC Multitasking Staff, Selection Post, SI (Central Police Organization), and Stenographer C & D.

SSC has released the warning on its official website and the notification read, “Anyone found to be disclosing, publishing, reproducing, transmitting, storing or facilitating transmission and storage of test contents in any form or any information therein in whole or part thereof or by any means like verbal or written, electronic or mechanical or taking away the rough papers supplied in the exam centre or found to be in unauthorized possession of test content will be considered as serious misconduct and will be debarred or disqualified from the exam.” 

It has further warned the candidates that legal action would be taken against the wrongdoer, it said, “Disciplinary and legal action would be taken against such candidates as per rules and such matter would be reported to police, if necessary.” 

It also informed that if any mischief or disturbance is created at the exam venue then his/ her candidature would be canceled. The official notification read, “Candidates must also refrain from creating any obstruction during the conduct of exam. If any candidate is found obstructing the conduct of exam or creating disturbances at the exam venue, his/her candidature shall be summarily canceled.”
