SSR manager Shruti Modi had offered to quit the job after knowing actor consumes drug: Lawyer

The Central Bureau of Investigation is in full swing to bring up behind the Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. CBI is quizzing all the people who had a link with SSR. From cook to house help, to manager everyone is recording statements in the case. 

Sushant Singh Rajput's manager Shruti Modi too has been summoned several times by the CBI team investigating Sushant's case. Now, her lawyer has come out and stated that Shruti wanted to quit within 10 days of joining Sushant's team as she got to know about his alleged drug consumption.

Going by the media reports, lawyer Ashok Saraogi stated, "When she found out about it after 10 days of joining, Shruti decided to quit but Sushant told her to stay back and told her that he will not be party to it. So she continued to work as his manager on this condition." 

Not only this, but her lawyer also raised a question to the Sushant's family, why they dragged Shruti's name in this case. He stated, "It is possible that she did not follow the instructions of the sister, so they may have some grievances. They wanted certain account details from her which she declined to part with.''

The drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case came into the picture after the Enforcement Directorate reportedly found proofs that revealed about Rhea Chakraborty and friends' consuming narcotics. A few WhatsApp chats of the actress allegedly discussing drugs with friends like Samuel Miranda, Siddharth Pithani, and others were revealed on the internet. These proofs were reportedly handed over to the Narcotics Control Bureau after which a case was registered against Rhea Chakraborty, brother Showik Chakraborty, and others. However, NCB is investigating the case.
