Stranger Things Season 5 is certainly coming. Even while production on the new episodes hasn't yet started, we still have a general notion of what to look forward to in the series' upcoming instalment.
The shocking, heartbreaking climax of Stranger Things season 4 has now been presented in two blockbusters, feature-length episodes.
It's fair to say that there are still a lot of loose ends for the show's next fifth season to tie up, including people who are in danger, unfinished storylines, and unresolved issues.
And yet what we did get was a gut-punching season finale that successfully and frequently tragically concluded the main plot of season 4.
The Duffer Brothers, the show's creators, have indeed hinted that a time jump will probably be present. This makes sense given the young actors' rapid maturation. Shawn Levy, the series' executive producer, has revealed that he doesn't want the show to stretch too long, indicating that a daring, fulfilling conclusion is soon to arrive.
When will Stranger Things' Season five be released?
You have to wonder if Stranger Things won't return until 2023 given that it took almost three years between the premieres of the third and fourth seasons, which was partially brought on by the pandemic. It will take a while to shoot if the Duffer Brothers are considering anything even substantially comparable to the scope of Season Four.
